Finally got around to mounting it on the counter and the matte finish picks up zero fingerprints, which is a relief. The way it holds the needles and capsules right at the base makes grabbing a refill almost too easy.

The zinc base has a nice weight to it that keeps everything steady, and the matte finish doesn't show fingerprints like I expected. I've got my corkscrew and a few capsules tucked in there, and it makes the whole setup feel much more intentional on the counter.

I was worried it would look bulky on the counter, but the matte zinc finish is sleek and understated. The little slots for the capsules and needles keep everything tidy so I'm not digging around the drawer mid-pour.
